Counselling provides a safe space in which you can share your thoughts and feelings. Your counsellor will not judge or pressurise you. The agenda will be yours and the main focus of attention will be on the disturbance or problem you are bringing.
Psychodynamic exploration will often lead to looking at earlier experiences in formative times of your life. This approach gives emphasis to unconscious and past experiences in shaping current behaviour. This is worked through in connection with the relationship you have with your therapist.
